Epimedium - Elf orchid
Epimedium is a tough, hardy perennial. Pink Champagne®, also called ?elf orchid?, has large soft pink to bright pink flowers. The attractive leaves and delicate flowers make a beautiful show in the spring. Pink Champagne® flowers several times per year. Flower stems can reach heights of 35 to 40 cm. This evergreen plant has nice decorative leaves in the spring, with copper coloured spots. Very good to use as ground cover in partly shades areas. Just before the new leaves start to sprout, discard the old leaves. Epimedium is also known for its stimulating passion qualities.
