Disporum - Flowering Bamboo
This unique perennial has stems that look like bamboo and is an evergreen. Grows best in moist humus rich soil, in the shade. Flowers in the summer and produces very decorative berries in the autumn. Because the plant is evergreen it is attractive year-round. In the first year the plant will grow to a height of approximately 30 cm. In the second year the plant will develop into a true flowering bamboo, with beautiful stems of 100 cm. height.
