Disporopsis pernyi - Evergreen Polygonatum

This native perennial from China grows in forests and shadow rich areas. The evergreen and ground-cover flowers in June and has straight, up to 20 cm. long stems, from a short, trailing root-stock, ground cover. Flowers are single or in pairs with shiny, dark green leaves. Grows best in humus rich soil, in the shade or partly shade. Divided plants can be stored very well.
